Extended Bookings, the Evening Given a Second Act
Longer than an hour, with nobody watching the clock.
Every good play has an interval, and the best part often comes after it. An extended booking gives your time together a second act, sometimes a third: an afternoon that turns into dinner, a day spent exploring the city, or a whole weekend in Amsterdam with one companion who becomes your trusted guide to the place.
It suits guests who dislike watching the clock, visitors with a free day between meetings, and anyone who has discovered that the first hour with the right person is rarely enough.

What an extended booking can hold
The shape is entirely yours. An afternoon might begin at the Rijksmuseum, continue with coffee at the edge of the Vondelpark and end with an aperitif as the lamps come on along the canals. A full day could take in a boat trip, lunch among the food halls and markets of Amsterdam West, a rest at the hotel and a late dinner in Oud-Zuid. A weekend adds slow breakfasts, long walks and the luxury of not planning everything in advance.
Between the highlights there is room for ordinary pleasures: reading side by side in a café, browsing a record shop, sitting on a bench by the water with nothing in particular to say.

A day in the old quarter, for example
Picture a Saturday. Late morning coffee near Nieuwmarkt while the farmers' market sets out its stalls, a visit to Our Lord in the Attic, the secret church hidden inside a canal house, then lunch on a terrace beside the Kloveniersburgwal. The afternoon brings a small boat along the quieter eastern canals and an hour of rest at the hotel. By evening you are dressed for dinner, and by the time the lamps glow over De Wallen, the day already feels like a story worth retelling.

Pacing a longer booking
Long stretches together work best when they have space in them. Plan a few anchors, a table, a museum, a concert, and leave the time around them open. Build in rest as well: a couple of quiet hours at the hotel in the afternoon makes the evening sparkle. If you are staying several days, it is perfectly reasonable for her to have some time to herself; agree it at the start and everyone enjoys the rest of the programme more.

Companions with stamina and curiosity
For a long programme, curiosity matters as much as charm. Luna, bold and independent, loves photography, theatre and wine, a companion who will happily fill a day with galleries and end it at a play. Milena is direct and glamorous, with a love of ceramics, tennis and espresso culture, so a visit to a potter's studio or a slow morning coffee suits her perfectly. Laura, adventurous and energetic, is at her best on a full day outdoors, and Tina, confident and warm, brings an eye for fashion design and a record collector's patience in the vintage shops. Laura and Tina are both part of our athletic companions, handy when the day involves a great deal of walking.

Quotes, diaries and notice
Extended bookings are on request, with the WhatsApp chat confirming the figure, since an afternoon, a day and a weekend ask for very different things. Tell us the dates, a sketch of the programme and the name you have in mind; her availability and the quote follow before anything is fixed. Notice matters most here: a day ahead for an afternoon, several days ahead for a weekend. The rates page shows how the longer formats are handled.

When one evening becomes two acts
Sometimes an evening simply refuses to end. If you are already together and would like more time, raise it while the booking is still running rather than at the door. When her diary allows, the extension is agreed in the chat within minutes, and the second act begins without an interval. For time together that involves leaving the city, the travel companion format is usually the better fit.

Before you send the message
How is an extended booking different from an overnight?
An overnight runs from evening to morning. An extended booking covers longer stretches by day or across several days, such as an afternoon followed by dinner or a full weekend, and can include an overnight as part of the plan.
Can we plan a weekend in Amsterdam together?
Yes. Share your arrival and departure times, any fixed plans and the kind of weekend you enjoy, and we propose a companion and a quote before anything is confirmed.
Does she need breaks during a long day?
Everyone enjoys a long day more with some rest built in. A quiet hour at the hotel or time to change for dinner keeps the whole programme relaxed.
Can I start with one hour and extend later?
You can, provided her diary is free. Planning a longer booking from the outset is safer on busy weekends, when her evening may already be promised elsewhere.
